According to a report from WABetaInfo, the rumored forthcoming feature will enable users of WhatsApp to pin or mark essential messages to the top of the chat from within individual chats or within groups of chats.

After the feature has been rolled out, users will be able to pin the messages. In the event that the recipient is still using an older version of the app, WhatsApp will insert a message into the chat to suggest that they update to the most recent version of the app by visiting the app store.

Because users will be able to quickly access their most significant discussions thanks to these pinned messages, the groups’ organized talks will improve as a result of this improvement. It is believed that the functionality to pin messages within chats and groups is currently being worked on at this time.

According to a rumor, the instant messaging network is reportedly intending to work on a new feature that will assist Android users in more easily making phone calls. This is an interesting development. Because of this functionality, users will be able to make phone calls directly from within the application.

The rumored forthcoming feature is claimed to provide users with the ability to rapidly access their contact list and place calls without having to open the application. Users are able to configure their own shortcuts for frequently dialed contacts using this feature. This made it possible for consumers to make calls in a hurry. The instant messaging program intends to make making phone calls as simple as sending messages in the near future.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, the calling shortcut function that is paired with the program has the potential to simplify calling for users by requiring them to simply tap the contact cell within the contact list. In addition, the source claims that once the new future feature has been established, it will instantly be added to the home screen of the device.

In the meantime, the platform for instant messaging reported that it had blocked 36.77 lakh accounts in India during the month of November. This number is just marginally lower than the number of accounts it had blocked in the month prior.

There are 13.89 lakh WhatsApp accounts that were banned in advance of being reported by other users. These accounts are included in the list of banned WhatsApp accounts in India. 37.16 lakh WhatsApp accounts were terminated in the country during the month of December, including 9.9 lakh accounts that had been terminated voluntarily.
