More than 50 tornadoes ripped through the South and Midwest Friday, according to the National Weather Service, as damage from the severe weather was captured on video throughout the evening and into Saturday morning.
Tornadoes killed four people in Wynne, Arkansas, and one person in Madison County, Alabama, according to officials, while other severe storms killed three people in Sullivan County, Indiana, and one person in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
A storm in Belvidere, Illinois, damaged the local Apollo Theater and caused its roof to collapse during a show.
The National Weather Service issued tornado watches for more portions of the Midwest and South on Saturday.
